Addressing critical food ecosystem issues
As a member of Pledge 1%, we have committed to reserving 1% of our equity to invest back into our community. In keeping with our values, we use this capital to address critical issues in the food ecosystem, to empower restaurants as change makers, and to support our employees in giving back.
Our Products
Leading change through innovation
We’re proud to have a team of product designers and experts dedicated to Toast.org initiatives. Led by one of our company’s founders, Jon Grimm, our product team works to build our mission into the Toast tools that restaurant owners use everyday, with innovative features like Toast Fundraising, which invites customers to contribute to a charity or cause; or Food Waste Reduction, a suite of POS features helping restaurants track and curb waste using data.
Our People
Giving back to the community
Toast.org supports Toasters in giving back to their local communities, through our donation matching, volunteering, and community grants programs. Toasters in fifty cities around the world have organized Toast.org committees to volunteer together, set up fundraising campaigns, and further our shared culture of service and community engagement.
